Dear Parent / Guardian
It is with great pleasure that I take over as head teacher of John Paul Academy. I am particularly pleased to take over such a great school that has made excellent gains in recent years and I can assure you that I fully intend for John Paul Academy to continue its journey to becoming the very best in the country.
Your child deserves the very best chance in life and I wholeheartedly believe that education is the bedrock on which this is built. Please be assured that John Paul Academy will continue to demand the high expectations of all its young people in all that they do and will strive to deliver the highest quality of teaching provision and personal support and success to each and every one of them.
Our patron, Saint John Paul said of the young,
“The future is in your hearts and in your hands”.
This truth still resonates today and both myself and all the staff of the school will continue to ensure that every young person is nurtured, challenged and supported and can feel confident in being part of that future.
As in every school success is only achieved with the love and support of parents and carers and I look forward to working with you over the coming years.
