The experiences and outcomes are an essential component of Scotland’s new curriculum and apply wherever learning is planned. They signpost progression in learning and set challenging standards that will equip young people to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

The Parent Toolkit will support all practitioners as they engage with parents and carers. As implementation gets under way it will help all those who work with children and young people to deliver key information around Curriculum for Excellence and answer questions parents and carers may have about how it will affect their own child.
Toolkit materials will be available to download from the Curriculum for Excellence website and a number of supporting printed materials will also be produced.
