Royal Mail Book Awards
We have participated in the Royal Mail Awards for Scottish Children’s Books for the past two years. We read the shortlisted books and voted for our favourite. This is a national reading award scheme and many schools in Scotland take part. We were lucky to attend the awards ceremony in 2008. A group from Star Book Club performed a scene from the Cathy Cassidy’s winning book, Scarlett.
