Our BGE course covers a range of topics and encourages learners to engage with both familiar topics and to increase their cultural awareness of the countries where the Language they are studying is spoken.
Over the course of their BGE Language studies, learners develop their Listening, Talking, Reading & Writing skills, bringing more complexity and detail into their own work and being able to understand more unfamiliar resources.
Currently our learners receive 3 periods of Spanish per week and 1 period of French in S1 and S2. In S3 pupils continue to study Spanish and/or French for 3 periods a week.
